In these terms and conditions, “we” and “us” mean Mosaic Travel Limited, a company incorporated in New Zealand.

Accommodation

Accommodation options mentioned in the quotation are subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute a property of a similar standard if we are unable to secure accommodation at the quoted accommodation. Top

Amendments

Amendments to a confirmed reservation may be subject to a minimum fee of NZ$50.00 plus any fees due to a supplier (i.e. Hotel, sightseeing operator, etc.). Your consultant will advise you of any fee at the time of confirmation of the amendment. Top

Cancellations

Any cancellations must be received at least 35 days prior to arrival in New Zealand . Cancellations must be received in writing (fax, e-mail or letter) and confirmation from us of receipt of your cancellation is proof of your cancellation request. If you do not receive a reply from us advising receipt of your cancellation then you must assume that your cancellation has not been received by our offices. A cancellation cost up to but not more than the deposit will be incurred.

Cancellation of arrangements within 35 days of arrival in New Zealand will result in high cancellation charges from hotels and other suppliers plus any administration charges that our company has incurred.

Cancellations within 14 days of arrival in New Zealand: no refund. Top

Children

Child ages must be advised at the time of booking, otherwise the adult price will apply. Child prices are based on at least one adult accompanying the child. Minimum/maximum ages of children may vary and are set by each individual supplier. Top

Complaints

Should the client have a complaint about any of the tour arrangements, the client must tell the relevant supplier at the time and inform Mosaic Travel Limited in writing. If the supplier and us know about problems there will be an opportunity to settle any grievance. Top

Confirmation

To confirm your booking Mosaic Travel Limited requires full travel details including names as shown on your passport and a non-refundable deposit. Once we have processed your inquiry, we will inform you of the final date for full payment and any other necessary details.

The minimum total booking value is NZ$500. Any bookings less then NZ$500 occur an additonal fee of NZ$50.

A booking is accepted and becomes definite from the date Mosaic Travel Limited has confirmed acceptance in writing. Mosaic Travel Limited or their agents reserve the right to decline any booking at their discretion. Top

Contracts

The contract is between Mosaic Travel Limited and the client, being any person travelling or intending to travel on a tour supplied by Mosaic Travel Limited as either operator or agent. The contract, including all matters arising from it, is subject to New Zealand law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand Courts. Only employees and directors of Mosaic Travel Limited have authority to vary or omit any of these terms. Top

Currency

All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars. Top

Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 per person is required to confirm and hold the booking. Some hotels or special service suppliers may require deposits before confirmation of a booking. If a deposit is required to secure such bookings we will request payment from you prior to processing the booking request. We may also request a deposit before processing complicated or very large bookings. Top

Disclaimer

Mosaic Travel Limited reserves the right to alter prices, itineraries, arrange alternative transportation, accommodation or services, or to cancel bookings as we deem necessary.

Mosaic Travel Limited will not be held liable, directly or indirectly, for any loss or damages resulting from activities under the control of other agents, including but not limited to claims for death, personal injury, machinery breakdown, delays, or additional expenses, which may arise when utilizing a service arranged through us. Mosaic Travel Limited shall not be held liable for Acts of God or through the acts of default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passengers or in carrying out our arrangements or otherwise in connection herewith. Documentation

Once full payment has been received by Mosaic Travel from the client or agent, a detailed itinerary will be forwarded. Upon arrival in New Zealand full documentation (voucher/s, itinerary) will await the client at the first point of contact. Top

We accept no responsibility or liability for:

  1. Any failure or delay on the part of any third party supplier in providing travel-related products or services to you where your booking has been properly processed by us.
  2. Any acts or omissions of third party suppliers in the course of delivery of such travel-related products or services.
  3. Any failure by us to complete bookings where that failure is due to circumstances beyond our control.
  4. Any action or activity undertaken by the client arranged independently, and shall not be liable to compensate clients for associated expenses incurred as a result of their booking. Top

Health and Fitness

It is the client's responsibility to choose a trip within their capabilities. As with most activities, the fitter the client is prior to departure, the more enjoyable the trip will be. If clients have any doubts about their suitability for a particular trip, they should contact their Doctor. Top

 

Insurance

Mosaic Travel Limited recommends that all passengers are fully insured (insurance taken out from their home country) to cover advance purchase airfares, as well as full medical, including accident and sickness, and travel insurance including baggage and disrupted travel arrangements. Please note: Mosaic Travel does not include or sell travel insurance. Top

Meals and Additional Services

Services are included as detailed in the itinerary. Any additional meal or optional service not included in the itinerary are required to be paid by the passenger(s) as utilised. Top

Payment

Full payment of any tour arrangements is required no later than 45 days prior to arrival in New Zealand. In the case of non-payment of the balance by the due date, Mosaic Travel Limited may treat the booking as cancelled by the client without any further communication.

Payment can be made either by telegraphic transfer to our bank (details will be advised on the invoice) or by Visa or Mastercard.

When paying by credit card (Visa or Mastercard only accepted) usually an additional fee of 2.5% of the total price will be added. Please fill in the credit card authorisation form which you either fax or scan/email back to us. Top

Prices

All our prices are in New Zealand Dollars and include local taxes (12.5% GST). We reserve the right to re-quote if local taxes change or special cost increases are imposed through circumstances outside our control. Top

Our prices do not include:

  1. Items of a personal nature, e.g.: telephone calls, mini bar, laundry etc.
  2. Inclusions other than those specified in the itinerary.
  3. International or domestic airfares.
  4. Travel insurance (cancellations, loss of deposits, delays, etc)
  5. All prices are per person unless otherwise shown and final itinerary pricing is subject to confirmation at the time of booking.
  6. Rates are valid at the time of preparation. We reserve the right to amend any prices that are adjusted by suppliers and price changes that are outside the control of Mosaic Travel Limited. Top

Privacy Policy

Mosaic Travel does not sell or rent your information to third parties. We release account and other personal information only when we believe release is appropriate to comply with law; enforce or apply our terms and conditions; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Mosaic Travel Limited, our staff, or suppliers. Top

Quotations

Quotations are valid for 7 days. Final pricing is subject to confirmation of the entire travel itinerary. Top

Refund

There will be no refund for services not utilised once travel has commenced. Top

Weather

Conditions on land, lakes and coastal waters, do from time to time prevent the completion of advertised programmes/sightseeing tours. The decision is normally made by the supplier at the time and is made in the best interests of the client and his/her safety. Mosaic Travel Limited can not be held responsible for these changes. Top

 

These terms and conditions are applicable at all times. We reserve the right to amend these conditions at any time.
