March / April 2009 - Newsletter
We hope you all had a great start to the New Year! The weeks are slipping away, and Easter is just around the corner.
The number of enquiries and bookings for the next summer season have been surprisingly high since the beginning of the year. Smaller properties are already fully booked for certain periods during December and January - and that despite the not so positive news about the financial situation all over the world.
We encourage you to book now and take advantage of the very low New Zealand Dollar. Prices could be up to 20% lower compared to last season. For example 1000 Euro buys approximately NZ$400 more at the current exchange rate, compared to this time last year. For a day by day itinerary, inclusions and pricing for one of our popular 3 week itineraries please click here.
Our family holidays this summer took us to the Catlins, Wanaka and the Marlborough Sounds. All 3 are exceptionally beautiful places in their very own way. We would certainly recommend including one or all in your next New Zealand holiday.
Kind regards, Sabine |

The sheer diversity of vegetation and wildlife in this one valley is truly unparalleled.
Your Hollyford memories will last forever. Walk through the ancient Podocarp forest ( New Zealand native pines) with huge Rimu, Totara and Kahikatea trees wrapped in massive Rata vines. Then visit the fur seal colony at Long Reef on the wild West Coast. You may see the rare Fiordland Crested Penguin. Spend the night at Martins Bay Lodge. Walking Distance: Approx 12kms (7miles).
