Day 1: Arrive Auckland: On arrival in Auckland – New Zealand ’s City of Sails - you are met on arrival and transferred to your accommodation. If time permits we suggest a sailing cruise on the Waitemata Harbour or a visit to the Auckland Museum to see the world's finest display of Maori artefacts.
Day 2: Auckland - Paihia: Travel northwards through lush farmland to New Zealand ’s northern most regions. On arrival in Paihia you visit the Waitangi Treaty House, where the historic Waitangi Treaty was signed in 1840 between the Maori chiefs and the British Empire .
Day 3: Paihia - Cape Reinga/Kauri Forest tour: Full day coach tour to Cape Reinga and the Kauri Forest. Your coach races along the waves of mighty Ninety-Mile Beach to the very top of New Zealand . At Cape Reinga enjoy spectacular views including the meeting of the blue Pacific and deep green Tasman Sea. Also visit the Puketi Forest to see awe-inspiring giant kauri trees hundreds of years old. A picnic lunch is included today.
Day 4: Paihia - Auckland: Dolphins are one of the earth’s most fascinating creatures. Board your vessel for the ultimate in marine adventures - to search the warm Bay of Islands waters for these playful mammals. Conditions permitting it is possible to swim alongside these creatures and see their antics up close. At times you can also see orcas, whales, seals, penguins and other marine wildlife. Later this afternoon retrace your steps to Auckland.
Day 5: Depart Auckland: Transfer to the airport
